Not Really New but It makes me feel New and Better!

There are a lot of things that bother me lately. But one thing's for sure, I'm happy that I get to be involved and attached with the university stuffs now compared to my previous years though I've also been affiliated to certain some. I'm joining organizations although I am hesitant to this specific org which I don't get the point of joining but then there are people convincing me too yet to my surprise, I REGISTERED! *weird*

I am now attached with XU's School of Business and Management Student Council as a student leader of which I was appointed or given the responsibility as a Deputy Commissioner of the Students' Rights and Welfare Department (STRAW) - an autonomous body linked with the Central Government's Xavier Students' Action Center (XSAC). I am happy with the current happenings in my college life yet I am very much looking forward to ACEing my academics since I wanna do the best of what I can not just for now but until I graduate hopefully, INSHALLAH! :)

And also, I just also joined the Junior Philippinies Institute of Accoutants XU Chapter (XU-JPIA) although in my previous university, I was automatically a member when I enrolled in the Accountancy Program.

Things are making their good ways to me now and it's helping me a lot!

-this was supposed to be posted a month ago and I just realized now it was saved as drafts only.
haha!

The Young Generation of the Relatives of Sultan Mohammad Ali Dimaporo Grand Reunion with KQD =)

June 7, 2009 the final date of which it was initially scheduled as May 28-30, 2009. It had gone to series of obstacles until finally, this Grand Reunion was made possible.

This reunion was initiated for us, young generations, of the relatives of the late Sultan Mohammad Ali Dimaporo(SMAD) in order for us to get to know each other and in a way get to bond even at this very moment only. With these, it would also strengthen the relationship and family ties of today's generation and for the upcoming ones Inshallah!

The late Sultan's cousin Sultan Muliloda Macarangkat Datumulok Dimaporo is my grandfather and is currently the only one left among the great ancestors of the Mangotara sa Binidayan. The latter would like to come but he wasn't able. But he was happy indeed for the said event and the like with regards to his family and relatives for we are seeking for unity and camaraderie among us.

SMAD's grandson now the incumbent Governor of Lanao del Norte and son of Cong. Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo, Khalid Q. Dimaporo, was the main guest of the event for he showed, even during the first reunion held in Mindanao Civic Center last April, sincere interest with regards to the unifying event as it was said. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen properly to what he had delivered during his speech for I was out for something too personal so I won't be able to share some points here.

The reunion didn't actually start well since there was improper dissemination of information but overall, it was good. During the program, everyone's like busy with different kind of things and as I've heard from some, it was quite unorganized but this is acceptable for this is the first time and the young generation's committee also did their very best to achieve something that would be grateful for all. If only everyone did cooperate really well. Imperfections are inevitable anyway. This is something that each one of us could learn from.

So much for that, there were series of activities held including the groupings that may be held permanently for the upcoming Sports Festival and Grand Reunion with elders hopefully. I belonged to the 3rd group and I only knew a very few from our group. This is quite interesting for I can hopefully get to know some other relatives I am undoubtedly unfamiliar with.

As I've said, the reunion was good! It went well. Thanks to the persons behind who made it possible and especially to the hardwork of the Working Committee who spent most of their summertime to do the preparations and until the final day. And a very big thanks to our creator, the Almighty Allah (SWT) for keeping us safe and well all these days up to now!
I've always been a proud kin of the Datumulok Family especially the soaring high LILOKINS! =)
