To Love and Be Loved ♥
During a classroom discussion in our Philosophy Class on Business Ethics we were asked, "what is the greatest pleasure that every man could have?". After hearing that, I was having a hard time thinking of what might be the exact answer. I know there would be a lot of different responses from us, students, but I am in a deep thought of assessing what it is exactly. I mean I can't specifically answer it myself as much as my other classmates do too. We were definitely puzzled.
I have thought of finishing my degree, passing the board, and having a stable job - all these for the pleasure of satisfying my parents dreams for me. That was what I thought of because at that moment I was like very much pressured from my parents and family and all I can think of is that when I finish this whole academic stuff, i would be given freedom. No more pressure matters to worry about of which I can then start to be really happy.
As my other classmates were in a deep thought of their answer to our professor, this classmate of mine suddenly faced at me and my friend and said, "The greatest pleasure is to love and be be loved at the same time, dibaaaa?" Then I just smiled and gave her a baffled look. I didn't mind what she said and so with her explanations regarding it because I was busy putting in order the words that I am to say when I will be called. However, at the back of mind, her words were slowly growing up in my thoughts. I mean she has a point. Who would not want to love and be loved in return? That kind of feeling is absolutely the best feeling that any human on earth could ever have and do. No matter how we say that we will be much pleasured by other stuffs in this world, nothing still beats the feeling of being loved back by the person you also love at the same time. The reciprocity of emotions and sentiments of love is just the finest and the greatest.
The pleasure of loving and being loved back comes with two other elements: companionship and security. Companionship for there would always be that person who's gonna be there at all times. You need them or not, they'll be definitely always around to accompany you with no buts. Then comes security for in whenever you are in the worst situation in life, without hesitation, they will make you feel secured. You will be secured not just by their presence but also by their love that without any conditions they will do anything for the sake of you.
Imagine that feeling of having meals with that special someone or those whom you love. You would unquestionably enjoy it more than when you are with other people around you. There has always been that pleasure of having them around. Now how about going to the cinema or maybe walking around the streets with that feeling "i don't care who else is here" because you have a company that can erase the idea of having other people around you. When you have to buy something in a store and you have around that person whom you love and loves you back that will accompany you through the selecting and buying process. Perhaps you would want to eat an ice cream on a very sunny day or have a coffee during a chilly weather with someone whom you'll enjoy it the most. The never-ending conversations that kept going amidst the busy hours you both got. How about travelling into places you really love to go to and having to explore and to appreciate those with that one great person in your life? Now when you feel very lost and you feel that the whole world has turned its back on you, you'd still be grateful of being alive when you know that there would always still be that person "you love and loves you back" that will never turn its back on you but instead will make you feel secured with its love, will stay by your side, and will slowly make you feel that everything will fall into place anytime soon.
These are just some of the many pleasures that one gets from loving and being loved back. Surely nothing can beat it and nothing can ever be compared with it. At the moment we achieve this pleasure in life, we then can say that life is really worth living despite the many obstacles and hardships we get to experience. We can achieve the idea of a perfect composure when we get to experience this greatest pleasure in life but there has to be this certain reminder in the reciprocity of this feelings: Deal with it the best possible way. :)

If you won a million dollars what would you do with it?
I would definitely invest a huge part of it. I'll treat my family to a euro cruise or any trip abroad they would prefer. A part of it will be given to my family especially to my parents. I'll finish our house. I'll buy a new car for both my paternal and maternal grannies. I'll surely give zakat. :) I'll pay in full our tuitions. And I will absolutely shop for myself! :D
